Muhammad Ali Autographs

Muhammad Ali was and still is known as The Greatest. This self proclaimed title became something as a prophecy which Cassius Clay (as Ali was then known) predicted in pre fight hype as went on to become the most revered boxer of all time. Some scholars would argue that Ray Robinson and Willie Pepp, to name two, come above Ali in the top 10 of all time boxers, but Ali was more than a boxer, he was a massive personality outside of the ring and he tapped into a previously untouched market which no boxer had ever done on such a scale before, the public psyche. This gave more credence to Ali's claim and who are we to deny him.
In the ring Ali had tremendous hand speed, knock out power, a great chin and magnificent foot work for a heavyweight, moving in a similar way to a welter weight. He bamboozled his opponents through out his early career and eventually got a shot at the world title. He became the youngest ever heavyweight champion by beating Sonny Liston in 1964, by forcing him to retire, Liston blamed a shoulder injury but most agree that he just couldn't cope with Ali. A legend was born and the rest is history.
